Mission: The Missouri Humanities Mission is dedicated to enriching lives and strengthening communities by connecting Missourians with the people, places, and ideas that shape our society.

Function: The Missouri Humanities Council provides strategic and program planning, fiscal oversight, executive and program evaluation; and judges competitions for grants, awards, and services of limited scope.
