Mission: The Missouri Behavior Analysts Advisory Board protects the public from incompetence, misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, misrepresentation or dishonesty; licenses only qualified professionals; enforces standards by implementing legislation and administrative rules; and encourages economic development and partnerships with existing small businesses.

Function: The Missouri Behavior Analysts Advisory Board may promulgate by rule Ethical Rules of Conduct governing the practices of behavior analysis.

Number of meetings: 4 meetings per year with conference calls in between if needed.

Compensation: Members receive a per diem not to exceed $50 for each day devoted to the affairs of the board and reimbursement for realized and necessary expenses.

Member Requirements: The board shall consist of seven members: three licensed behavior analysts, one licensed behavior analyst holding a doctoral degree, one licensed assistant behavior analyst, one professional member of the committee, and one public member. Appointment to the board of the one professional member of the Committee of Psychologists shall be made by nomination and majority vote of the committee.
