Member Requirements: one member must be the chief judge of the court of appeals within which the 31st Circuit Judicial Commission is situated; two members must be members of the bar residing in the 31st circuit and must be elected by members of the bar residing in the 31st circuit; two members must be non-bar members and must be residents of the 31st circuit

Political Requirements: no member of the Commission other than the judge shall hold any public office, and no member shall hold any official position in a political party

Geographic Requirements: yes, members must reside in the circuit

Senate Consent Required: No
